I don't want to ramble, but I just find it depressing how many people want to so quickly throw away the fun of life - thinking, analysing, inventing etc. Working in an academic environment makes seeing that proliferation even more cutting. A slow death of the values we're meant to be espousing.

"But it's good for structure, for summary etc. etc." I understand, and I know people will take short cuts for 'busy work', but language is important. Language informs thought, informs language. Using AI to write critique, or opinion, or fiction is eroding your own thinking and a disservice to you.
