He took another sip of his tea, feeling the heat spread across his frame.

“Then I shall be in attendance,” Hisashi nodded, taking a sweet for himself. While not necessarily one to harbor a sweet teeth, the samurai enjoyed a complete ensemble — a full meal.

“Perhaps a gift is in order.”

After having tasted their tea, Hisashi lifts a plate riddled with sweets from his land all meticulously arranged for a delicious ensemble.

“Would I be welcome?” His stark query was softened by the sweets he offered.

In a similar fashion, he himself poured and assembled a drink for himself. Raise it up, Hisashi bows to the cup and takes his sip. The warmth travels down to his core and settled comfortably.

He sets his cup down and finally breaks his own silence.

“Fruits of our labor,” he says, “I am glad.”
