Late to the game: I found this image with a pot in it that would work...but have no idea where the pic-taker bought it.
Your best bet is to get a pot that is wider than it is tall. Basic design physics. And set it on a silicon sheet so he can't puch it around.

We tried to beat the heat today by dogwalking at 5am, a good hour-and-a-half before sunrise. It was still 90 degrees out.
(At least the humidity was only in the 20's, which is unheard of that time of night/morning!)

Consider planting a passion fruit vine: the vines are beautiful and are great for covering ugly fences or for privacy.
With all the rain this year mine went crazy with fruit and flowers.
