I haven't made a digi bodysuit since 2022 and I've never made one with this foam method. Honestly I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a very particular shape (esp for slim or sharper digi) and will likely be making a tutorial on my website about it in the future!
What we called the "fun pants". Blue neoprene pants with foam glued at the thighs, knee, and butt to form digi legs. There are shoes at the bottom with foam sculpted toes. Please excuse the messy background The "fun pants" all taped up with duct tape. You can really see the final vision here!

Today I finished teaching @averagefurr.bsky.social how to make a fursuit bodysuit! We finished it in one week together!

We sculpted everything by hand and were incredibly happy with how it turned out :D

This is rare, but I’m considering maybe taking on 1-2 longer-term fursuit commissions due to the upcoming material price hike.

I won’t be officially open for comms again in a *very long* time (at least a year from now) so this is a rare opportunity to get a custom suit from me!

The bee sting removal procedure was a resounding success (Remy for @rempixel.art is all glued!)

I also installed his hair, which features some braids! I still need to add the hair ties but I’m quite happy with how they came out 😌

Slots are “longer term”, meaning you get a spot on my queue but I don’t ask for the 40% fursuit deposit until it’s almost your turn, just the cost of the design. I’m hoping to clear out my queue in the next couple of months :D

Similar to a fursuit head, I’ve covered this foam base in duct tape. The hardest part has been cutting enough darts to preserve the shape, but not too many where it becomes cumbersome.

3 makes each finger piece lie flat, but I think I can get away with 2 for my own sanity! (cont.)

I’m going back to my foam carving roots and making a puffy paw pattern :)

Creating a base and covering it in duct tape is the easiest way to get a pattern. I chose foam for this because I wasn’t too sure abt the scaling. Looking forward to seeing how they come out!
