In school we're taught the legislative branch writes the law, executive branch enforces it, And the Judicial branch interprets it. Checks and Balances!...

...but it's 2025 now and they ate the checks, they ate the balances, and they don't want anyone interpreting the law unless it benefits them.

I think they'd feel regretful, maybe even have some remorse for the poor family who's entire monthly budget they were holding...then turn on the TV to see the news and be like "naw nvm, they not like us".

Not a recession, just a fast "transition" straight into depression.

I'm convinced those that majority of those who represent the democratic have become extremely detached from how life is for the rest of the US. They don't know or maybe just don't care about anything until it directly & immediately affects them. Both parties seem to be saying "Let Them Eat Cake"
