Their films have been exhibited at venues including the SXSW Film Festival, Anthology Film Archives, Cinematheque Francaise, and many furry cons and DIY spaces. Hanover recently co-curated Room Party, a group exhibition of contemporary and experimental furry art, at Bunker Projects in Pittsburgh. They currently teach digital art and photography at the University of Memphis.

The third artist joining the Panel Discussion is also the one behind the redesign of our mascot, Minerva, for this years conference! That’s right, it’s Zephyr Kim (@notyet-here.bsky.social)!

Time to say hi to the first of the four panelists of the Furry Artist Panel Discussion - Glopossom (@glopossum.com)!

Beyond comics, Glopossom dabbles in illustration, painting, product design, ceramics, and music production.

In 2025, he co-curated Room Party, an exhibition of contemporary and experimental Furry Art at Bunker Projects, where he also completed an artist residency. Before that, Linecum operated Toxic Metal Press, a Risograph micropress for comics and zines, from 2021-2024. Outside of organising large art projects, his hobbies are practicing handicrafts, webmastery, and attending furry conventions.

Time for artist number two from our Artist Lecture session, we're thrilled to introduce you to Mark Zubrovich (@zubrovich.bsky.social)!

Zubrovich graduated from SUNY Purchase with their BFA in 2015, and has had solo shows with Richard Heller Gallery in Los Angeles and the James Black Gallery in Vancouver.

The first artist to be highlighted is I.V. Nuss!

She won multiple awards and was most recently nominated for the prestigious WORTMELDUNGEN literature prize. Her new book R-O-N=O deals with transsexual aesthetics of death, and Furry, and was awarded the literary grand prize of the German Literature Fund.

Hello academic fluffs! We’re pleased to announce that the deadline for submissions of abstracts for Furry Studies 2024 has been extended to 24th June 2024.

Plenty of time to get those ideas in!
