They're not complex. Trump is a Russian asset; a useful idiot lost in the hopium that he's going to syphon off $billions from Russian "deals¨. He's wrong, on every level.

The Corruptocrat In Chief lost in the art of spinning weasel words and double speak...

Zelensky prepared well, and acted out his role to perfection. Trump pontificated, lauded Putin for offering to sell Ukraine its own electricity from its own nuclear power station. A tiny hint of amusement, then Zelensky snapped back into character, as Trump waffled on... All as expected.

And finished predictably with the orange corruptocrat making stupid pronouncements of ...Putin's talking points.

Quelle surprise...
December 29, 2025 at 7:43 AM
No, it's even more depraved than that. He was saying that Russia will sell Ukraine power from Ukraine's Zaporizhia nuclear power plant "cheaply"...
December 29, 2025 at 7:39 AM
High yield seed access denied; fuel shortages; rural workers purloined into "SMO" meat assaults; ag equipment workers -> defence production; railway logistics failing; interest rates climbing and credit squeeze on; + climate change...the future looks rosy for Russian farms...Blood red loss results.
December 29, 2025 at 1:34 AM
Yes, they should...but they don't. Only the Ukrainians are willing. It would be much more effective if the British simply fouled the propellers/steering of the nefarious Russian vessels and captured them, but they're scared of "escalation" and the probability of their partners evaporating.

The RUB isn't freely traded. It's only recognised in the RF, and useless elsewhere. RF exports price in $US, are paid for in RMB equiv; and then forcibly converted to RUB in RF giving the RB access to discount hard currency - more tax by stealth.
December 29, 2025 at 1:20 AM
Or, just deploy fishing nets to foul its propulsion and / or steering

This looks like a job for a Ukrainian dronesub, just gently apply a limpet mine to the hull and melt back into the brine
December 28, 2025 at 12:36 PM
Nothing. Trump is already aligned with Putin, but Putin has probably been told by Xi that China will cease all assistance if he panders to Trump. Xi wants Trump diminished. e.g. Wasting his political capital on Russian folly. Xi will let Russia be totally dependent on Beijing's whim.

Last sentence - absolutely.
December 27, 2025 at 2:06 AM
Or maybe it would expose limits on Trump's power. There's little Putin can do if Erdogan sees his own power and prestige at stake - he backed the groups that took Al Assad down & Russia was powerless then. They're much weaker now.
December 27, 2025 at 2:01 AM
Ukraine should hit FSB and Rosgvardia in the next couple of months - Moscow and St Petersburg. These two orgs protect Putin's power from challenge & are legitimate targets.

or better, depending on your perspective...

According to this, Wilson knows that the ROC is the problem. He seems to be on the right side of it. It's the Trump administration that is the problem.

Orthodox Christian clergy's visits with US officials draw accusations of Russian influence

Russia's economy is properly destroyed already. It's baked in for decades now. China (i.e. the CCP) wants western military capacity depleted to clear the path for their obsession with taking over Taiwan to finish the vendetta between two dead dictators.
December 22, 2025 at 2:10 AM
China won´t bail them out. It might do a one-sided benefit deal that gives putin a mirage to cling to, but it won´t save russia. China has its own economic problems, anyway. It would like to get back the territories the russians expropriated a century & a half ago, or direct control of some energy.

Meanwhile, Ukraine has sunk another Russian submarine, and now has more or less complete domination of the Black Sea, and yet western media silence. Not even a peep about it.

There must be some reason for it - his actions don't align with USA's best interests. His crypto provides a relatively untraceable means of accepting corrupt payola from nefarious foreign players.
December 1, 2025 at 11:06 AM
It's possible (or probable) that Putin arranged for a Russian oligarch to buy a large enough block of Trump crypto in return for geopolitical assistance.
December 1, 2025 at 11:06 AM
The Trump regime is a Cryptocracy. He created a large crypto-wealth fund as he took back the levers of corruption. The MAGA idiots who bought into the scam will lose money they can probably ill-afford.
