in the end she blocked me on everything, and is continuing to use my art on all her platforms. for free. unpaid. she even took down all of her vods except one singular vod that HAS MY MODEL IN IT

then shit hit the fan. to say that she was rude is an understatemnt. and to accuse me of causing her financial strain when she had previously told me that she doesn't pay any rent or bills is.. wild

At this point, she went from saying 100 weekly, to 100 monthly. something i didn't mind too terribly much. i have no idea why she called me her employer, but I'll chalk it up to misuse of the word.

She had a random shift in her mental health and her messages. they were scary and foreboding - but she STILL had expressed no interest in pulling out of the project. She even asked me for payment info, to which i sent and agreed for our relationship to move on to pure business.

She told me that i would get 100 usd from her first paycheck to start paying fo rthe model. this is what kept me working on it when i had yet to see a cent - i was convinced that things were just coming in slow for her.

She was very excited for her model, which motivated me to keep working on it, unfortunately it also made me blind to the red flags. at this point, the model was almost half way done and i had yet to see a cent. trouble came when she asked me for the png/reactive model.

She literally started using the actual unfinished model itself as her profile pictures as soon as she was able

No matter what though, she never expressed any intent on dropping the project. note that she was aware of my financial struggle, and a bunch of things that were going on in my personal life. i thought we were friends.

Cracks were starting to show in her personality, I won't share any personal details of what was going on in her life, but it was affecting everyone. she got super irritable on streams and it became more difficult to talk to her.

She had told me multiple times that she would get money to me as soon as possible.

at this point, she had already started using my art. the banner with the eyes was all over her social media profiles, and she was telling everyone that she had a model in the works. She was clear with her intent to use the model for NSFW streams on fansly, but i didn't care as long as i got paid.

I sent her regular updates as i worked on the model, and she kept making the project bigger, and bigger. Fully rendered model, with detailed cutting. fully togglable clothes, shoes, underwear, and all. and lots of little details.

I had some personal issues come up, and progress became slowed a little bit on the model, this is around the time she asked me to make her a pngtuber/reactive so that when she is streaming in the meantime while she waits for her full model, she has something to use.

She informed me that she was planning on doing a total rebrand for her channel, and would need lots of art. She expressed interest in having me do backgrounds, emotes, and overlays for her. I stupidly made her a banner while brainstorming for her final model.

It is important to note, that by this point she was going by "Cobalt Fenix", and was expecting to make a name change in tandem with the release of this New Vtuber design I was making.

She and I worked together in a VC while I designed her brand new Vtuber design, starting completely from scratch. At this point, I had already disclosed to her that i usually take upfront payments of at least half of the final sum. Unfortunately, I was naive and made an exception.
