I'd say separate posts. A chain of replies becomes increasingly intimidating to backtrack, and, from my experience, the replies rarely show up in my timeline. Quote RTs don't really help people who want to catch up, since it only goes one direction, and are useless to people going through the pages

It's a matter of perspective really. I think Potionomics is cozy, but that's more so because I get into a nice rhythm of planning for every time slot of the current day, and preparing for the next. I feel like the game wants/expects you to play like that, but doesn't actively push you to do so

I tried to recommend FMA to a friend, but its kinda alienating trying to explain how you need to watch the older version first to fully appreciate Brotherhood, but both have different endings and there's a major tonal whiplash going from the original to Brotherhood also

The problem is that the anime expects the viewer to already have seen the original anime and kind of rushes through the events. It feels like it just wants to get to the good stuff and tries to give you the bare minimum needed to understand the story
