We mask at home if someone comes down with something too & it keeps me healthy. My 9yo has a mild cold right now & you know what's better than being sick? Wearing a mask 😷 (especially since I have long covid triggered immune system dysfunction)

When I experienced something along those lines, the conclusion I came to was that my person gave me enough dopamine to function better

Ugh they could literally post the exact same book lists reframed into something actually helpful like, "fun reads" "for the curious" "deeper dives" and just focus on facilitating a love of reading instead of inserting shame EVERYWHERE unnecessarily. I'm happy my kids love reading whatever they want

I will never forget freshman year in the dorms & my new friend that lived on my floor was in chemistry with me. She came to my room DISTRAUGHT asking me what "dinee trojan" was while studying for 1st test. It was dinitrogen. We had a good laugh for the rest of the semester over that one
