Looking forward to Chuck Schumer trying this strategy out!

Great episode! I played a bit of the game at PRGE this year, but I'll give it another go. Also weird that I had to listen to Retronauts to learn about a great looking arcade in my neck of the woods. The kiddo and I will definitely be driving down during the holiday break

Can we just put her in the "dust drawer" of history and be done with her disingenuous, manipulative nonsense?

Apparently, Bluesky is cool with pedo-, I mean hebephilia, and murdering brown people, but joking about a wood chipper is just a step too far.

Next year will be 25 years that I've lived in Seattle, and it really has grown up in that time. But the next 25 really will require Seattle to truly grow up, ditch the "Seattle Process", and build the housing and public transit infrastructure we've desperately needed for the past few decades

Seems to be the ravings of a madman who has never had good apple pie (with some aged cheddar cheese grated and melted on top) or a real key lime pie, not that gelatinous horse piss in a pie shell sold at the local megalomart

It's solidly in the 50s or 60s. When it comes to rhubarb I prefer a crumble, buckle, or cobbler.

Can confirm

I wouldn't say the editorial boards have lost their minds. It would be more accurate to say they have dropped their liberal disguises to openly advocate for the subordination of the many to the rich and powerful few (themselves included). We are in the new gilded age after all

Damn, I envy you! We actually happened to watch that when we were down in Portland for PRGE. Perfect movie

My guess is that the Trump administration has secret back channels with Hallmark and Great American Family to pump out extra holiday fluff to distract from the Epstein Files

Seriously, we need to (figuratively) burn all these people to the ground and (figuratively) salt the soil with their blood so nothing grows around their sterile, lifeless ivory towers

I read The Pearl because it was the shortest book on my 8th grade book report list.
And my anti-capitalist anti-wealth sentiments started there

I think that @bretthamil.bsky.social has captured the essence of the Seattle Rhonda spirit
November 12, 2025 at 1:02 AM
At least WSB comments get the occasional Jort rejoinder
November 11, 2025 at 8:25 PM
WSB commenters are some of the most car-brained NIMBY people I've ever encountered. "Speed limits should at least 45 everywhere because they need to get places fast. Too many bike lanes and speed bumps! All public transit is filled with 'those types'. Crime everywhere in WS. Pickleball = death"
November 11, 2025 at 8:19 PM
Rhonda has been a real "gem" of the WSB comments section since the blog started almost two decades ago

Was "wildlife biologist" Kersti Muul consulted on this? I hear (not really because I'm mostly deaf from pickleball sonic damage) that pickleball noise literally knocks birds out of the sky
