Sucker Edition
January 19, 2026 at 5:29 PM
Need to start renaming these the "Sucker Editions". Spend 170-dollars only to wait 6 months when they clearance them out on Woot for 10-dollars.

Joke's on Paramount. They were already beat by the early season's of Dick Wolf's Chicago PD.

Everyone running is either a Trump butt kisser or from the “we’re not Trump we are more hardcore!” wing of the party.

DeSantis will be gone soon and the next Governor will likely be a lot worse.
January 10, 2026 at 6:12 PM
No you would not unless you want hundreds of dead people, which will happen if there are riots.

Don't give the LAPD any ideals...

Also keep in mind that if you're a Fortnite player (like my kids are), this isn't a price increase at all if you were subscribing to the battle pass stuff.
October 1, 2025 at 8:23 PM
Well, people said they wanted the 360 to come back.
October 1, 2025 at 8:21 PM
These price hikes won't end until enough people say "no."
October 1, 2025 at 8:19 PM
You have to admit, Call of Daty and Teen Woll hit really hard in 20122.

If it's anything like the past (DCMA etc...), they'll enforce it by fining and jailing you and me while ignoring any company worth more than a billion dollars.

Oh my gosh! Don't you know you're playing the Halo 3 killer!!
August 6, 2025 at 10:54 PM
So many comments saying "It's a cell phone game" not getting the fact that a regular iPhone 15 vastly outperforms the PS4 CPU and API wise.
August 6, 2025 at 1:23 PM
Does it say $9.99!!!! All over the place?
August 4, 2025 at 9:35 PM
The ala carte plan is simply too late for it to be effective. At best, it would deny Fox News a little revenue, but more likely it would destroy MSNBC and probably CNN leaving Fox News to be the last one standing.

Gamer anger means nothing. Gamer apathy however is normally the kiss of death for companies.
July 30, 2025 at 2:06 AM
This whole crap is like a MAGA infused version of Game of Thrones. Gabbard, Vance, Rubio, DeSantis are all doing this stuff because they trying to get the "King Trump" blessing to run in 2028.
July 23, 2025 at 8:29 PM
EA is finally going away, aren't they?
July 23, 2025 at 8:08 PM
We also had ten-thousand places renting out those same games for 3-5 bucks for a weekend. We also had a lot of stores sell used games fore lower which kept new game prices lower. We don't have those anymore.
July 23, 2025 at 7:21 PM
More likely they will just go to PlayStation, maybe PC but that's a mess as well.

Games were $50-dollars during the 8-bit era (until Nintendo got in trouble for price fixing). Then they were 50-70+ dollars doing the mid 16-bit era due to rom chip costs. Then they went crashing down to 30-50 bucks due to CD-Roms. They were 50-dollars for a lot shorter time than most people think.
July 23, 2025 at 7:15 PM
To be fair, it did kind-of worked out for Nintendo because everyone had to buy a new system, thus most people actually paid 50-dollars for Mario Kart via the bundle. I'll be interested to see how many people actually paid for the $80-dollar retail game.
July 23, 2025 at 7:09 PM
I lived during that time -- very few people actually paid the MSRP for a game. Real prices were closer to $50-$60 for 1st-party games and $60-$70 for 3rd-party games. Also, another point that people forget is that every grocery store and thousands of Blockbuster stores were renting games for 5-bucks
July 23, 2025 at 7:06 PM
This 100%. It's amazing when I see argument's going "games are more expensive to make." That's not the customer's fault. The hard reality is no one is paying $80 if your game is not GTA6 or Mario Kart (and honestly -- Nintendo got away with it because most bought the bundle for 50 bucks more).
