It's a difficult time of year, but I avoided awkward moments by having Christmas with my Sis over from Holland (helping me with the hogs & clearing up + my daughter & her fiance.
My parents came on Boxing Day... perfect 😊
There's so much preparation for a lovely day, then it's all over in a flash!

"All the poorlies are doing so well now". None are dying!🙄

Slow cooking will certainly bring out the flavours.
I'm not a great chilli fan myself. I don't mind a bit of heat, but my OH loves the insane hot stuff, so we make seperate
batches here 😆
