My first pair of checkered Vans are now too small, so I gave them to my daughter. She's happy now that she has these just in time for the Indianapolis 500!

Baseball day for me and my son. It started at 11am because the team hosted students from several city schools. Attendance was an easy 10K. We lasted in the sun for 3 innings before exchanging our seats for an area in the shade. I love our minor league home!

It took this long to guarantee the threat of frost is over. I was getting so sick of looking at the dead wood. I didn't see any new growth on the old wood & I'm afraid the long winter stunned them.

Keeping up with my fitness calendar is difficult when everything I do happens outdoors. Winter is bad enough, then it decided to stick around & change to rain throughout April. I feel like my only achievement is eating better and less. I still hold myself accountable & could use some good cheer

We have been outside since breakfast. I installed solar lights on the front of the house to shine down on the hydrangeas, like I do every year. In about a month, things will look like this.

I did some research to see what will remove that cruddy algae from my siding. Every Spring I used a pressure washer, which worked, but took hours & lots of water. I found this for $13 & it made my siding look new! It took 2 jugs to do this side. Zoom in on the pics for clarity
