IMHO leftists need to stop trying to resurrect Marx every decade and maybe dust off a new theory or just try a different approach altogether. This whole revolution and worker's utopia thing ain't gonna work for the 1000th try.

I get the argument of social welfare reducing poverty-related crimes (and I am all for it), but pretending all crime would go away if we dispensed infinite hugs and luxury products is delusional thinking.

"All the worlds problems would be solved if everything was free" was never a philosophy that solved all of a society's problems ever.
The thing is if someone having everything they wanted made them a good person then why are so many people in wealth and power complete sociopaths?
