Extremely good so far but mechanically it really expects you to have played the first game, I’m only about 3 areas in (~2hrs) and the difficulty is comparable to lategame hollow knight. The first game rules though so play it first if you’re interested

Hope you enjoy! Thomasina is one of the best-written video game characters I’ve had the pleasure to experience - her personality, flaws and insecurities, and even vocabulary quirks are so well defined. Her relationship with the antiquarian studies is one of the most compelling aspects of the work.

ohhh lol that makes sense, i assumed it was something related to a complete lack of quality oversight over translation since the names are so unusual compared to the rest of the series (barring X5's guns n roses names of course. tidal whale will always be duff mcwhalen to me)

Ah i meant X6 has better movement but worse game design than X7. I found X7 mostly inoffensively bad, voice acting aside, but X6 is full of awful rooms and gimmicks from phoenix donuts to metal shark's 1000 hour long stage to the instant death traps everywhere. Evil game. also +1 fuck the doc robots

I honestly think X6 has worse gameplay design than X7 and is only saved by being on the same engine as X4 and 5 which at least makes it fun to move around in. Also megaman 3 is nowhere near as bad as X6 or X7 but I'm a mm3 hater to my core so I'm throwing it in the ring for contention
