While irregular miniatures are never going to win any prizes for good sculpts, it's nice to have a mini you finish and don't feel like you've missed bits out.

Things don't always work out and it's important to remember school boy physics.
Magnets don't work if there's a gap, in this case a plastic wall or yours using weak ones.
The idea does work and using larger magnets it's fine.
