1st painting in my new sketchbook. #watercolor and #gouache ... I bought an unfamiliar brand of paper. This is Fabriano, 140lb (300 gsm) and I think hot press? I wasn't used to how the colors worked, so I decided to just use gouache rather than trying to get smooth blends and crisp brush strokes.
