They not answered in the EO or document from DOI. It’s not like DOI has a bunch of cash floating around for all of this. What’s the plan? It seems like this will just cripple US fire fighting www.doi.gov//document-li...

Don’t worry, it gets worse. All fire budgets are being zeroed out. In 2026, all Fed wildland fire will be handled by a new agency that doesn’t have congressional approval, has no budget, isn’t staffed, and doesn’t have anything from saws to land management responsibilities

We kind of do Forests offset 14% of US annual emissions, depending on the fires. 90% of sequestration happens East of the Mississippi, again fire. If you go to Forks, you can find Doug-fir that are 300 ft tall and feet in diameter. In the South, we’ve got improved pine that can grow a 2x4 in a year
