The fact the gap between SM1 and SM2 is real time but the gap between SM2 and SM3 is like a couple months confused me so much as a kid

Everyone in SM3 acts significantly older than they did in the last film but canonically they're still in the same calender year

Most books are written for the trade anyway so they just feel like a small part of a whole

I think this mostly comes from the big 2 (esp Marvel)'s willingness to cancel any series that doesnt instantly sell amazing

(It also leads to smaller characters like Silk never getting ongoings)

3) (obligatory spider-man take) We need more large lens representation in Spidey media.

Im pretty sick of every designer saying they want to go back to "ditko or romita" since its not a unique idea anymore considering literally every adaptation does that now

1) Comics need to ditch the monthly format and release by volume or learn how to make a single issue feel like a satisfying story again

2)Iron Man comics pre-2000s are overlooked and have some of the best character work ive seen in an ongoing title
