Flavio, a Glenn Valley Foods worker, told the Flatwater Free Press in Spanish he believes about 50 workers are still inside the plant. Flavio, a US resident, was allowed to leave. He guesses 40 law enforcement agents entered the plant, including some with “DHS” on their uniforms.

Douglas County Sheriff Aaron Hanson said the Department of Homeland Security contacted his office about a week ago to help control traffic around an immigration investigation in Omaha. Hanson said he doesn’t know details of the federal plan.
