The social stomach of ants has always been a point of fascination for me. Workers store food in their stomachs specifically for feeding their own kind. It looks like kissing.
I wonder if it's a physiological trait that limits our ability to be altruistic?

Polyrhachis weaver ants, known as "black spiny ants" in Japanese and Chinese, use the silk threads of larvae to build nests.
This might answer my question of why the nerubians in the Warcraft series look so much like ants, even though they are called "spider-men".
