Yes THIS！And they write abt how the vestige is the only thing he could think about in the romance quest……it just doesnt feel right, not at all. Gabrielle‘s existence has been handled SO poorly. If I recall it correctly he talked abt her at the beginning of East S and then there just…poof.

what I am worried about is that they keep doing so if the darien examples have proven successful. More character romance and more dead character coming back not knowing what to do with them ( dont pretend we dont feel the season of worm cult is already a replay for the main quest but kind of rush）

but also kind of useless and in a not fun way.

I mean, character death should MEAN SMTH even if thats a fantasy story. And when his story tells the player “hey daedra is kind of untrustworthy” and suddenly hes back treasuring the “meridia‘s light“, claiming he being one so proudly, it just feels everything is so lame.

Also the story is trying-

I mean…good to ppl who actually like it and want to see that happens. but I honestly see zos trying desperately to keep their players stay in eso and character romance is just…such a obvious trick, even at the cost of the entire chara story, but anyways romance, right？
