For more than 400 years this tree has stood on some crappy soil on a tiny island. Surviving many major storms and countless small ones, the roots are concrete hard and while stretching hundreds of yards in every direction.
This is a bad ass tree.

It's awfully nice to be out of the cold climate and I don't just mean the temperature. People are tense, nervous and honest smiles are getting harder to come by.
