I'm not sure how the world of Titan Quest 2 was constructed, but it feels like it's been hand-crafted with the utmost attention to detail.

Titan Quest 2. Finally.

New 7800 games from #atari. What an age we live in.

One of our subscribers did not like the fact that we didn't shy away from the fact that this story took place during the recent and ongoing occupation of Los Angeles.
Sorry not sorry.

As L.A. "burned" we visited the So. Cal Retro Gaming Expo a couple weeks back.

To me there may be nothing more pleasingly nostalgic than the feel of new inbox, imported Atari ST games. I planned to “crack the seal” on these, but I’m having a hard time giving them up like that so fast. @davevelociraptor.bsky.social @8bitrocket.bsky.social

In 2008, when quite literally, NO ONE CARED we published a multi-part series called "Project Save Atari" with ideas and predictions for Atari's future. In 2024 we sat down to revisit it, and see how we did. These are the lost tapes from 2024 and 2008.

This was my first creative non-fiction story from 2022 which won The Easy Reader Writing contest. I made video essay out if it, with remastered audio for my new "story only" channel geared towards adults who have adult children named "The Empty Back Seat"

I’ve been playing the sane game of Candy Crush Saga for the past 13 years. Not a flex. A sad state of affairs .

I've spent all morning going back and forth on where to put the possessive apostrophe for "Adventure's".
I think this is right now.

The first minute I fired up my Atari 800 in 1983 I played this Stuart Smith game. It felt like an RPG to me and still feels it was an RPG, but it gets little credit as an early RPG. Now when I look at it, it kinda feels like Zelda too.

I think uncertain times are calling for me get out this weird analog synth I purchased a NAMM a couple years ago and see if I can make heads or tails of it.

I have no idea what this book is that I just bought at the antique store, but it may just become my new Cold War Americana obsession

Meta A.I. knows as much about retro video games as my mom. I could never convince her that game cartridges did not contain any "tape" and now Boomer-Facebook-Meta is trying to "add context" to a ColecoVision discussion by saying the carts had tape in in them. They did not.

Some semi-obscure unopened early 70’s toys just for the hell of it

A picture of a bunch of loose Atari carts for no reason at all

My good friend T1LT, an NES/Genesis homebrewer and hardware designer created this unique cartridge that, when flashed with a Master System game, will play it on a Genesis / Mega Drive with battery back-up for game saves! Here is Miracle Warriors running on my Retron-3

It’s pretty much amazing to be here in 2024 holding brand new, official, Atari 2600 & 7800 games and a console that I received for XMAS!! One wonders what 2025 will bring.

This #Atari Addict one-off magazine is really good. It strikes the right balance between old and new, with a finger on the pulse of the current retro scene. Nice work to all involved.

It's hard to explain what it was like to be kid in the dawn of the home computer age, who desperately wanted to be part of it, trying to find any way possible to make it happen.
It's hard to explain, so I made a 70-minute movie about it instead.

The more I read about and play A Mind Forever Voyaging, the better it gets. for example, in the in-game documents you an find a reference to the current (in-game) military branches and they include "Space Force" and the type "Border" agency you just know is going to be proposed next year:
