Key findings:
🔹 Coupling the ocean improves SST and storm intensity
🔹 AOW setups produce stronger latent heat flux & more realistic eye shape at the center of the medicane
🔹 Standalone runs overestimate wind & underestimate SST
🔹 Wave coupling improves cyclone depth

We simulated 16 medicanes over the Med-CORDEX domain using four configurations:
✅ Standalone atmosphere
✅ Standalone wave
✅ Atmosphere–ocean (AO)
✅ Atmosphere–ocean–wave (AOW)
