I live these Shell guide paintings. My mum framed them and changed them with the month (she hung them on the back of the loo door). I particularly liked the one with oast houses. May, I believe.

They only have to raise the pension by £11.48 a week and your pension is being taxed. Hardly luxury.
Don’t mention tax credits. Those are for people who don’t have enough ‘years’ to claim the full pension. I do have. So no extras for me. I’m 72 and still work part time - until I’m 92 prob. 2/2

It doesn’t work like that. My state pension is about £11973 or £921 every 4 weeks. The tax free allowance is £12570. So there’s only £597 before it starts being taxable income.
£11973 is not enough to live on. So if you can’t work you have to hope they will raise the pension. 1/2

You need to get an SSL certificate attached to your site. I had to do this as many browsers won’t let you visit or at least warn you as it’s not considered secure.

I don’t believe in austerity as a thing. It’s an excuse to run the country into the ground whilst donating to the richest in the country.
Switzerland has an exit tax we can try if we are worried about rich people leaving - but so what if they are avoiding tax. Go right away so we can start again.

The kindest thing I can say is, that perhaps she herself was abused at that age by an elderly man and is in such denial that she has to believe it’s okay or otherwise her whole world is horribly broken. That doesn’t explain why she wasn’t ostracised though.
