(4/4) AI doesn't know what it's making, its a machine that takes training data and spits out permutations of that data. Then, humans look at those outputs and says; "this is closer to what I want" or "this is further from what I want". AI infinitely approximates "good" without ever reaching it.

(3/4) A human capable of this quality of art, would never get the same things wrong. While progression isn't necessarily perfectly unilateral, as you get better at anatomy, you get better at shading, you develop a better understanding of color, and you certainly know how many fingers a person has.

(2/4) Suddenly you find yourself falling deeper and deeper into the uncanny valley. You notice the details in the background don't make sense, the trees don't look quite right, wait a minute is the number of fingers wrong? The longer you look, the worse it gets.

(1/4) You see a picture that, if drawn by a real human, would be very technically impressive. But something's off; something almost imperceptible. Maybe there are multiple light sources, maybe the anatomy is juuust slightly wrong, or maybe everything's just a little too glossy.
