FWIW I'll don't like VAR. But here's we are. And I think in the current climate that sort of challenge is a red. I think the surprise is that it was the sort of challenge that pre VAR was usually a yellow cause it happened at such speed the ref didn't see it. Intent is irrelevant remember.

That's the point of VAR though (and that's another debate). To take a forensic look. Arsenal have gone all in on the dark arts, tactical fouling etc. He's gone to stop the fast break, and he caught him, above the ankle with his studs. I think that's textbook dangerous play.
