bluesky is not a cohost or Twitter 2. it is an application running on top of an open, decentralized, authenticated protocol that anyone can extend, use, or interoperate on.

So far this app feels like one big circlejerk of a very specific twitter gang (that I’m not part of…). All I want from social media is memes and news and this ain’t it at least not yet.
