Love them , used to love being bombarded with Birthday cards, and mum having rows of string on the kitchen wall to hang the Christmas cards.
When I was very young sending a telegram on your Birthday was a thing too.

Gun violence has been increasing at a speed of knots in Sydney. Every day there is a drive by shooting or a stoush between gangs. The authorities have not been able to control the access to weapons and stop the violence. Something needs to change.

In the last few weeks it has become even more dark. A constant bombardment of violent videos. What is the endgame? Normalise violence or cause outrage? I am spending less time on that platform

I seem to recall my friends houses having one of these atop of their posh walunits with the crystal glasses. Dad would get what we would now call cleanskin flagons of tawny port and claret that he would keep in the cupboard in the bathroom.He rarely drank them though.
