Visited Ueno park which had lanes due to the crowds, and also went to the nearby science museum which had a nice exibit on migration of proto-Japanese population (unfortunately not all in English). Also nice shot of Tokyo Skytree on my way back to the hotel.

Final major landmarks I visited were Himeji and Osaka castle.
I have to agree with people that say Himeji is a much nicer looking castle. Especially the interior being 90-95% preserved to what it originally looked like, rather than Osaka castle's internal modern museum.

Went to the Osaka Gundam base and of course Nintendo Store Osaka to complete the all Nintendo Store visit. Unfortunately no GC controller gacha as they ran out, so I ended up with a Zonai gacha instead.

Had fun at Universal Studios Japan, went on a few rides and definitely went into Super Nintendo World... after a 6 hour wait. Then got onto the DK ride... after a 2 hour wait (should've bought the express pass).

Kyoto was also where I managed to visit the most important Japanese landmark. And I of course visited the Nintendo Store Kyoto branch for another controller gacha (not pictured)

Kiyomizu-dera was next on the list very nice walk around to the surrounding temples.

Went to Nara Park with all the deers. Cute but also they are very impatient when you try to feed them the biscuits. I then made the mistake of climbing another hill right after I climbed Mt Inari. Feed have not stopped complaining since.

Of course dropped into Kyoto to visit the Fushimi Inari Shrine's 10,000 gates. Tourists thinned the further up you went :P.
Reached the top, but didn't take a picture because I was tired and only took one of the top most Kitsune.
