They want the shutdown, and for people to rebel. That allows them to justify spreading the cruelty and policing more communities, especially just before November voting. Can't let the Democrats gain any ground.

There have been at least three weeks where they could have been "processing" and working this out. A promise to talk about it is crap when we know the plan all along is to gut the ACA. They will let the Dems call a vote, but will make sure anything that is proposed won't pass.

If they can convince everyone that a 14 year old is capable of making adult decisions, then they can try to tell us those victims under 16 aren't really victims...they're consenting adults.
