And yesterday Putin supposedly met New People leader Alexei Nechayev. Nechayev told him that his party had backed Russia's new budget in its *first* reading in the Duma, when the *second* reading in fact took place on 14 Nov, almost a week ago. The first took place on 24 Oct!
