DoD was the best mod for Half-Life, just something about multiplayer trying to storm Omaha Beach just hit real good. It also just seemed more authentic than CS

Alright, I’m gonna take a contrary view here. We should pay them more so that A) it’s not something limited to the wealthy and B) so that they don’t feel the need to chase outside income.

Holy shit, accommodations can make a world of difference for kids one of my most brilliant 10th graders this year just has processing delays, without extra time she’d really be struggling

That sample of writing would be unacceptable coming from my 10th graders not even accounting for content. No cites to the sources, hell it's not even a summary let alone any type of analysis. It's 6th grade ass writing from a college junior

Yeah, it looks like she didn't hit the points on the rubric. No direct links to the article, poor writing quality, I guess you can argue that she reacted to it, but I would not say in a proper academic way.

I'd love to see the actual prompt on this because I expect better analysis from my 10th graders. I also expect them to cite their damn sources.
