In this case a mathematician called Kevin Hayes Wilson seems to be behind these lexicon entries.

As observed, they are only submitted via his PDS, these lexicons are not official US government ones.

Sadly the UFO tool does not show this. PDSls does.

But the nexus of power remains:

All data has to pass through the app, and the app must get granted (more or less) full access to the PDS.

I encountered this when I moved my account to my own PDS -> github.com/fry69/bluesk...
Note Hitting the PDS Upload Limit This led to a side quest where I found out that my PDS was still set to the original 50 MB upload limit, but the mushroom PDS raised this to 100 MB and 3-minute length for videos a while after I set up the PDS. The solution for this problem is changing the following line in the /pds/pds.env file on the PDS server: PDS_BLOB_UPLOAD_LIMIT=104857600 Don't forget to restart the PDS afterward (reboot or systemctl restart pds).

I wish there was an option to filter out posts that quote posts which I cannot see (e.g. because the quoted author blocks me or has removed the post etc).

These posts are useless noise to me.
I have zero interest in seeing them.
