Makes total sense — I've rambled some more about this exact thing in your DMs 😅 but doing more to demonstrate those use cases could be huge for you

You're probably doing as good or better on the tool (though I'd have to investigate more) — but to gain market share from WF it's more about client hand off (their components/build mode are very robust)... and there's significant platform lock-in. Not sure that's necessarily your target market ofc.

definitely an improvement 🙏

also, nice article — I totally agree. I've been on this trip for years with Webflow... although there are certain things that annoy me e.g. losing simple but powerful things from code editors like selecting all instances of a selection / search term at once.

Agree actually, combo of thin, tight and grey is kinda a perfect storm for poor readability — increasing the weight would probably have the most impact

It's annoying, but I genuinely don't blame the client... it makes total sense from a user POV that copilot would know how to write code that interacts with Microsoft services.

For the record, I can write said code, I'm just not free to work on it right this second.

my brain is torn between agreeing with the people saying you shouldn't so much as handle this stuff and 'ooh free pickles and ramen'

Nice! I know that one well funnily enough as my brother used to live there, but didn’t know the lore 🙇‍♂️

Sure I get that, but in my opinion that shouldn't take priority over maintaining brand recognition or respecting company heritage

Interesting — I don't really see why those products need to have a consistent design language across their brands, but I had also already seen the even more ugly Ultimate Guitar one and didn't make the connection. Feels like they're prioritising internal thinking over the actual consumer impression.

Always happy to take a look at stuff, been keenly following your progress and while I've not been able to go deep on the product yet maybe that makes me useful for things like this 😅

Mostly makes sense — though I feel like with this one I'm missing some fundamentals that would help me understand. Not really a criticism of the example though. Here's what my brain did: www.loom.com/share/1cce7d...

Definitely on my list to do something like that, should I ever have the time 😌

Even better if I can conjure a client project that fits though 🤞
