I don’t read as much as I used to and I miss it but my time has been spent writing, working leather, and bettering myself in other ways. I’ve lived and breathed politics since I entered university in 2001. This year broke me. No politics, just beauty.
I’m not celebrating. I live in a red district in Illinois. I’ve developed PTSD from people desecrating the flag by hanging it on their trucks until they’re tattered. Video credit goes to the US Parks District in their last days.

I’m not celebrating the 4th of July. I live in a red district and have developed PTSD about even seeing our poor flag that has been dragged through the manure of Trump’s lies. Video courtesy of the US Parks district when they still existed.
