So, in a more recent cooking adventure, I've tried to make cheese curd for the first time and, personally, it was a big success. 4 litres of milk gives around 500 grams of cheese. The bacteria used gave a faint vanilla yogourt smell and a pleasant light sour-ish taste. Cheese got eaten in a day.
This is around 2 hours and a half into the cheese making process. Milk has curdled. Has to be cut into cubes and now, it needs to be slowly brought to a certain temperature over a period of 30 minutes and then maintained at this said temperature (in this case, it was 39c) for another 30 minutes. This is around 3 hours and a half into making cheese. The cheese part has been separated from the whey and placed into a cheese cloth. Since I wanted to make cheese curd out of this cheese. I applied only a small pressure on it to remove a bit more whey and made the cheese a bit more firm. After around 5 hours, this is the final result. The cheese has been cut into pieces and salted. It'll take an extra 6 to 12 hours to reach it's peak flavour.

So, in 2017, Tim decided to tease the Canadians with a doughnut poutine on Canada's day. An interesting idea that had to be improved by moi. Thanks, Tim! The result was somewhat quite sweet.
Doughnut poutine offered by Tim Hortons, in the USA, during the Canada day of 2017. Minuscule cheese curds on a honey doughnut with a few manly fries placed on on top of it and some sort of gravy. A maple doughnut resting on a field of shoestring fries and powerful pieces of cheese curds. All of this covered in a brown gravy mixed with maple syrup. A above view of the previous picture. Back in 2017, drones were too expensive to take a picture of this humble meal. I had to climb on a chair to take this impressive shot... on an actual camera. Not a cellphone.
