I swear, for every sincere pro-Palestinian advocate I've chatted with, there is an absolute legion of shrill, vile, bad faith, "pro-Palestinian" cockwobbles who (eventually) make it clear that their only problem with "genocide" is that they don't think it's happening to the right group of people.

It was beyond a bad call -- it was a complete abandonment of basic facts and intelligence.

A bunch of Dem reps sacrificed themselves to pass the ACA and it still wasn't good enough for them.
Obama managed to get DADT repealed, and he was still lambasted for not simply issuing a (reversible) executive order.
Biden made loan forgiveness happen and people criticism against him redoubled.

Pirates are actively attacking the ship and rather than declaring all hands on deck to fight them off, you'd rather hamstring the defense and the defenders because for you there's no difference between your crewmates and the raiders.
