My cat Jiji has this stuffed squirrel he LOVES. He carries it around with him. Sometimes he will “gift” you squirrel to show he loves you. It is NOT for fetch it is to hold and be happy he gave it to you 💕 2/?? #petparents #petsarefamily #thread

My grief is lighter and I haven’t cried over them in a while. My partner asked if we could clean Kiwi’s favorite blanket. I didn’t anticipate getting emotional and started balling. I asked if we could put it in his favorite spot after.

Pets are family and it is normal to grieve them❤️‍🩹
