I've known the danger all my life but then my mother was British and served in the British army during WWII. She chose to marry an American soldier, and raise a family here in the American South. She could see the fascism all around.

I thought that at first, but after reading the story, I saw that they, including the pastor, were supporting her. Also, the gay brother goes to that church, so it must be an inclusive church, like an Episcopal Church or Evangelical Lutheran or other main line church that is welcoming and inclusive.

I appreciate the report and the prosecutor, but make no mistake, there was nothing benign about "grandads" KKK. It has always been a violent white supremacist organization that carried out hundreds of lynchings.

The right thing is to negotiate with the Democrats for the continuation of ACA subsidies. The Republicans don't want to end the filibuster because they want to be able to say that the end of the ACA subsidies was a bipartisan decision.
