His dad used to “coach” at a rugby camp I went to in summer, 15-20 years ago. I remember someone telling me his some was professional, and then he popped up on a Scotland team sheet. Can’t for the life of me remember his name though

I like GT, and it’s not all his fault, he can’t make the players play. But even at grassroots level it’s obvious when a sub needs to be made, and I’ve been that player wondering why we’re not taking boys off when they’re cramping etc

Think of the data they have available to them about metres covered, average speed, rucks hit, tackles made, tackles missed. It’s been said by the best coach in the world right now, no matter the player, as soon as they dip below the average, that player needs to be swapped
