Don’t get me wrong he’s 100% angsty, but the times you see the supporting cast take him seriously and grow is not when fighting and declaring revenge, but giving in to the praise of being a good kid, friend, brother; etc

He’s so squishy

Rudo is the best main character in a long while. So much of that is attributed to him be written as a teenager while being a teenager. He isn’t shown to be a OC for (specifically) young adult men to vicariously live through. He’s deliberately written as a teen with CPTSD, way in over his head
