Best books my grandma ever gave me. I love that they also include what chemicals make them work. It also explains why a plant is labeled "poisonous". I was surprised how many plants were labeled poisonous simply because they had medicinal qualities

A type of scrying that uses a small bowl or low glass of water. The trick is to unfocus your eyes, like doing a Magic Eye picture. Sometimes, placing a candle behind helps to unfocus the eyes. With practice you will eventually see shapes and then images.

Simply put, drip wax from a taper candle into a water filled cup or bowl
Traditionally there are 3 points you can read at: when the cup is partially full, when the water is completely covered, and when you have a thick enough disk you can flip and remove
