The only time I can take this critique somewhat seriously is if they're talking about ludo narrative dissonance within the narrative of the game. Depends on how seriously a person is trying to take the story the game is trying to set up of course, but the dissonance problem is a real one.

Question: if you are making comparisons to the original games, then it would make more sense to grade BG3 against BG1 and 2, no? I, for one, would be interested in seeing the dichotomy of the two writing groups, and just how much is different from goals, design, cliches, pandering, etc.
