this is the first time I'm playing an active time battle final fantasy and I actually get why it's designed that way instead of just feeling like a regular turn based game with a pointless timer slapped haphazardly on top, this stuff is fast, congruent, and there's things to do even during downtime!

another fighting game I forgot to put here while I was actually playing it, and it's not bad I guess, the mechanics are neat but I just wasn't really taken by the roster and was under the weather when I was giving it a try so maybe I'll give it another go in the future

yeah I really liked this. Yakumo's playstyle rocks, level and encounter design is pretty solid, and for once they didn't forget to bring good bosses... though Ryu's levels felt like complete filler get him out of here
would want to replay this on harder difficulties at some point!

great time, the battle system makes a surprisingly good jump to real-time though still far from ideal, the cast was fun and the city felt good to explore, the music was awesome, and the ending straight up got me emotional
would be interested in seeing them do this format again

not going to pretend like I understood everything but it's pretty obvious the guy's got talent out the ass, the variety in the instrumentals helps a lot and so does having over 20 tracks funnily enough as it never let me get bored

a fun time for what it's worth, enjoyed how many playable characters there are and the levels are pretty well done, bosses are not bad but the big green crybaby himself was maybe a little disappointing

played this in january but forgot to log till now, I don't have any experience with the original but this was a very fun time, roster kinda sucks I guess but as a tag fighter it's very fun and hectic and I like the infinity stone system, mod makes it visually ok

incredibly respectable comeback, feels dense and different from their past stuff but still distinctly Coroner, the solos stood out to me and I fuck with the lyrics though not every riff is a winner, still very impressive that they haven't lost their touch after 32 years

had fun blasting through all the 8 episodes in a single day, thought the constant cussing and the low brow jokes would get annoying but thankfully that didn't end up being the case, villain's kinda weak I guess but whatever the drama and the conflict were good even without that, neat stuff

tried this out with friends now that it's cheaper than water, it's pretty fun! I like the roster well enough, the gougi system is neat and it feels pretty smooth to play, unfortunately has probably the worst room match system I've ever seen in a fighting game it's so damn bizarre
