One Future Illinois PAC = led by some of Chicago’s business and real-estate bigwigs, including investment banker Steve Koch, who served as deputy mayor under former Mayor Rahm Emanuel; and more.

As someone with the heat tolerance of a snowball I think about this all the time. Absolutely ghastly conditions.

I'm pretty sure we try to pretend farm work is unskilled because if we admitted just how much skill is involved (so! much! skill!), we'd also have to talk about paying a fair wage.

If you followed me or at work for any amount of time you’ve probably realized that when I was saying that Schumer and Biden and all of the high-level Democrats that are now giving in were fascists for supporting Israel’s genocide and they would only work to consolidate it here, I was right.

Erika Kirk has openly bragged that she is more far-right than Charlie was. She’s led Turning Point USA’s fascist trad wife conference for years and her speeches are filled with the same hateful venom as her husband. Really sick shit to boost this woman’s profile when TPUSA should rot into obscurity.

It’s particularly important to note that legislation to limit what kids can do and see online also limits what *everyone* can do and see online, censors broad swaths of the internet, further disempowers marginalized tech users, and allows the fascist government to control what is on the internet

"In an effort to overcome a $9 million budget deficit, the city of Anacortes [WA] is laying off 13 employees, including five at the library and three at the museum."

Including the teen librarian, naturally. This is a huge cut to cultural + democratic orgs in the city.
