i have struggled with being mistreated and misunderstood for so long, and finding out that it was due to my autism is kinda….cus if i think about it, that wasn’t justified to make me a target either.

i’ve always given people respect even if they didn’t give it to me, overcompensated in niceties too…..not anymore!!!!!!! i am not your punching bag!!!

she has absolutely no power over me omfg….she is just mean and i assumed she did bcos patterns and my understanding of unspoken rules. it took me 6 years of struggling to realize this and i feel sm relief today. she already said something to me today and i got overwhelmed and then realized ……

i have basically lived telling myself i deserved less bcos that is how these preexisting conditions/rules were set up but i made them up ???? i thought they were correct and concrete but it was the autism and no one else aside from nts are abiding them lollll

ever since i found out i have autism i think i have started to become more understanding of myself but wow it really put a lot into perspective!!!
