I’ve cultivated such a calm & peaceful vibe at home with such gentle cats. But lately I’ve been watching some movies on my tv & they get scared of every sound! Played at a normal volume! and they get so frightened they run out of the room! Guys please it’s not that serious

I watched Klute (1971) 1st in the paranoia trilogy. It’s an odd film - dated but a portrait in time as well. Interesting cinematographic choices - use of shadow & isolation. The absolutely hideous aesthetic representing the collapse & exhaustion of the era of the early 70s

I made dinner and I’ll ponder eating it. I was making the bed but now I have to take a break because Minky needs her under-the-sheet time. I have to stay and guard her in case one of the other cats gets too excited and attacks the moving mound

I’m reading King Sorrow by Joe Hill & it’s incredibly taut and thrilling!! I’m like 60% through a 900 page book and I just found out Joe Hill is Steven King’s son?! Honestly it’s better than a lot of King’s writing and I’m a fan

Maybe kind of a weird angle - I have a pillow that is sheep skin that was given to me. The cats love to get lost in the hair? I don’t usually have a lot of animal skins etc at home but it’s all 2nd hand so I feel less bad about that?
